How did you end up getting your Ektelon Model H fixed? The same thing happened to mine a couple days ago. The tensioner will pop when it comes to tension but it will not lock. I found that same part you posted in 2010 laying on the floor as well.
I already bought two of the 98L (no counterveil) rackets with the intention of weighting them as you have. Would you mind sharing how much weight in the hoop (and where) and how much in the handle you found necessary to add to your rackets to bring them up to the standard 98 16x19.?
Thanks for you time,
D McE (aka stickM)
This is a stretch but I came across a thread a long time ago that said you played with the Slazenger pro braided with a leather grip + lead. I was wondering if you might recall where the sweetspot was located in this racquet? Was it higher near the hoop or lower in the stringbed? Your insight is very much appreciated, thanks in advance.
For me, that was the Wimby final. Good match overall and kind of on par with the expectations of competitiveness. Thought Nadal will hold up better, but Fed was the pressureer today. Now he can go save tennis against dipshizz Djo.
I hope you are well. I am a collector of squash rackets (mostly Grays of Cambridge woods and steelshafts). I saw pictures of your amazing tennis collection and noticed that you also have some squash rackets stored in buckets. Would you mind posting or sending me some pictures of your squash treasures? I am not looking for anything in particular just like marveling at what you've got. Best regards -Jens

....shoes for tennis. I get knee pain, sometimes lower back pain too from various tennis shoes because they are so different from running and moving in vivobarefoot. recently I actually got inspired from one of your posts where you wrote that you play barefoot on the clay. I tried that but guess it might be a problem in competetive matches. So my question is did you find some shoes you like or are you still playing b
Hi Povl. I dont know if you are danish, it seems like a danish name. But I write in english to be sure I write to you because I see that you have the same problems as me... I play a LOT of tennis at a quite high level but I have a problem finding tennis shoes. Outside the court I only wear vivobarefoot shoes as my knees and back loves those shoes and the barefoot feeling/benefits. But its so hard for me to find
