It's finally here!!!!!!!

And after how many delays???

Is anyone other than me not able to see the specs on the racquet?

I don't know, it could be. I bought my already. Comes Friday.

Hey Zhou,
question for you man. Have you hit with this racquet yet? If so, how does it feel? The reason I'm asking you is because I've been demoing racquets for a while now and this is one racquet I'd like to demo but it seems like no one will have it for another 2 weeks (which is way too long). To give a little background, I'm a 4.0 all court-player with a semi-western forehand, 1hbh and I like to take aggressive swings. I'm looking for a racquet around 95-100 sq in, 11.8oz or so, 8-9 pts HL and flexible. Sounds like this racquet would fit the bill.

So far, I'm down to these three racquets in my search: Babolat Pure Storm, Kblade 98 and Prince Diablo MP. Any idea how the Limited compares to these three?

Thanks a lot!

It comes Friday if everything goes as planned. TW is going to string it up with Klip Legend 18 at 60 lbs.

Is this another Pro Tour 630 wannabe?

I am a cynic, but I actually think this racquet, like the kBlade tour, is for Babalot to sign Head players to play with the Prestige with a Baboloat paint job.

When you get down to it, pure players racquets don't sell.

well yes in a way from Dunlop Rev 200G, MW200G, HM 200G, Mfil 200G, AG200G, Head iprestige MP, LM prestige MP, FXP prestige MP, MG prestige MP, Wislon Nblade and Kblade, Pro Kennex type C , Redondo MP, Major bullet, Tfight 325/335, topspin, Caymon etc.................why not babolat?

Zhou, TW stringers string too tight and this Klip 18g strings tight as is, on this dense MP/MID it is going to play like a log. I would recommend 50lbs TRUST ME.

Just saw the specs on this thing, as posted by TW. A swingweight of 305 - wow, that's pretty low. I'm guessing this stick will need significant amount of lead to get that swingweight up. Plus, based on the posts here, I was under the impression that it's a 18x20 not a 16x20.

For those of you who have hit with this stick, how does it compare to Pure Storm or Pure Storm Tour?

Thanks.

wow..... a flexible frame with such a low sw and a dense string pattern.... it must be REally low-powered.

I trust you but I probably won't get to hit with it until Monday and have a couple tournaments coming up so I won't be playing with it for almost 2 maybe 3 weeks.

Want to lend it to me for a week or two? ;)

Zhou and Slapshot, where do you guys play in MSP? I used to live there until November last year. Btw, TW won't release a demo of this stick for a while. Apparently, they want the initial wave to go to people who buy the stick based on the spec.

TW posted that there will be demos available next week. They simply rushed to get these on the site for sale since many posters were getting impatient.

I play out of Baseline primarily during the winter, and spend a lot of time at St. Kate's and St. Paul Academy during the outdoor time.

wow, this one looks like a GREAT frame to customize (as with the AG100). A little lead here and there, and you have a nice players stick with a perfect weight distribution that YOU create. paintjob looks nice also.

I thought it was gonna be an 18 Main racquet, specs show a 16X20.
Too bad it has such a low swingweight

The specs are very close to the TFight 320, very close. Also, the head shape reminds me Volkl's. It's definitely a sweet looking racquet!

I think it is there mistake. The Stringing Info is wrong as well because the mains end at the throat so it would be a 2 piece.

I just posted this in the TW Questions forum but I thought I'd post it here as well:

A 11.8oz. racquet that's 8 pts. HL, with a 18x20 string pattern and a swingweight of only 305? And I thought TW's measured swingweights have been running on the high side recently compared to what you feel in actual play?

I can't wait to read the TW review and see what numerical rating they give to the power. Could it be one of the lowest ever tested? Based on the specs, I wonder if this thing has any power at all?

Anyone that has played with this racquet want to chime in on its power level compared to other racquets? The only reason I'm interested in this racquet is to gain a little more power.

that swing weight of 305 has to be wrong. What other 11.5+ oz racquet has anything below 320? Even the kblade tour which has an identical weight and balance has a 323. I am guessing it is 325 and someone just made a mistake! I just can not wrap my mind around a near 12 oz raquet having a sw of 300.

But even at that it may have a little more pop than other sticks! That babolat name alone adds 20 mph to any shot you hit LOL- well that or it could be the woofers!

Has anyone hit with the pure storm limited and the kblade tour? How do they compare?

Here a brief description of the Pure Storm LTD from product catalog that I have:

PURE STORM LTD.

Retail: $180
The new Pure Storm Ltd. is a no-nonsense throwback frame designed to meet the needs of experienced players with long, loopy strokes. Experts capable of generating their own power will appreciate its accuracy and stability. Packaged with Babolat’s Carbon Xtrem and Woofer technologies, this traditional, thin-beamed wonder will boost your confidence when it comes to smacking down-the-line winners and picking the corners. “Spot-on shots and stability for all-out, all-court control freaks.”

Hope this description is helpful above.

Another one to add is the Volkl Tour 10 VE mid with a 12.2oz strung weight and 318sw. However I also fall into the boat of someone at TW mistyping the sw on the PS Ltd and now that I look at it the TF 320. 305sw is very light...

The stock specs of the PS Ltd look interesting however...esp. the 62 flex.

However, it looks like USRSA measured its swingweight to be even lower at only 296. Yikes!

USRSA's spec:

SW 296
flex 58
Power level 1631

For reference, PST's power level is 2089.
