Yeah, all forms filled out in triplicate; additionally we need back taxes for the last three years. Six forms of proof of residence within the Mid-Atlantic area. and finally you will have to turn all of these in at the DMV.

Not sure about tofu... but Dats does like his meats a little rare. Granted it was dark when he made the kabobs, but when I bit mine it "moooooed" back.
Either regard, Dats is the man at the grill. It will be sunny, so I have full confidence.

topaz, my kids' school has a "no sweets policy" (yes, really), so i crumble my cranberry-pecan oatmeal cookies into a tupperware, and call it "granola" for them to put on top of their yoghurt (plain, with a spoonful of vanilla sugar).
...so will you be bringing your own yoghurt, or would you like for me to bring you some?

That sounds...*marvelous*! I will have to wait a day to eat it, but I have my own yogurt at home (no sweets for Lent).
I'm a teacher, and we try to discourage sweet treats, but it totally doesn't work. Just Friday I threw away two cupcakes, a brownie, and a cookie!

Would love to hobble over, but No. 1 son and girlfriend are coming out from Memphis to see the sights. They arrive Friday and leave Sunday, which means the sights they see will be slight, indeed.
But no tennis for me this coming weekend.
Just lots of family bonding and suchlike. I am so sore everywhere today - except the spot that really counts. *knocking on TFM's next racquet, my Davis Imperial Deluxe from that fabulous 60s decade.* Just did about 3.5 miles on the elliptical to loosen up, and I feel fine.
Again, my regrets for the upcoming meet. Maybe next time.

Ha! I just got back from a 7.0 mixed match...do we know each other?!?

Well, team Woo-paz came roaring out of the gates, but couldn't quite keep it up the whole way through...we lost 6-4, 4-6, 1-6. The last set looks like a blow-out, but we had our chances in just about every game. I was serving at 1-5, and we had at least 6 deuces, maybe more, and saved plenty of match points, but in the end, a shanked BH by me ended the match.
Highlights included an amazing touch volley by the wookie, three overhead gets in a row by me (too bad I couldn't put any of them away!), a volley winner by me where literally all I had to do was stand there (the guy hit it right to my racquet...I never moved! winnah!), one BH slice by me, a running around get/lob by the Wookie that would have been amazing if we had been outside (hit the ceiling), and pretty solid serving by both of us.
Oh! And I hit two successful lobs, one FH and one BH. I'm most proud of the FH lob...I don't usually even try those!
Wookie...it was a pleasure! Hopefully we'll get a chance to team up again!

Yup - good match Topaz. You forgot to mention that we mad a run from about 1-5 in the second set to make it close. To bad we just couldn't get over the hump in the second and third sets.
Also - the one person was calling those lines a little TOO CLOSE, I'm sure a few of those were in.... oh well.
We'll definitely have to play again.
Strangest thing happened. I actually broke a string while serving.... and I NEVER break strings. Main broke at about 3 inches down from the tip. Even stranger is that it looks like the Goosen Synth gut ate into the Blue Gear (poly).
Okay- who wants to hit Thursday????

Its only fitting you bring natty bo's since now you are the closest to BMore.
Also I may or may not bring anyhitng. Last I lugged a grill 90 miles cooked beer brats and who knows what else. Plus Its my birthday and Ill cry (about bringin stuff) if I want to.
My serve is now terrible so I doubt I could hit one over 105. I will however bring an official NCAA college football to properly warm up my shoulder.

If you can make it?!?!? You're the only MAC member who doesn't have a job. You could be a professional BBQ maker with all the free time you have.
Also, I cut the **** out of my hand this evening, right in the palm. There was so much blood I almost threw up and then blacked out. I might not be able to play this saturday but I can still eat food. Hopefully this damn thing heals quickly.
