Gasquet, far and away, has the best one handed backhand. He can literally hit it anywhere he wants, and just crush the ball. It really is quite a thing of beauty. He's one of my favorite players, and I really hope that by May or June of next year, he'll be back in the top 20 or so. At least he should be if he gets his act together- should be top 10 or so.

yes, gasquet BH is very nice, he can hit some tricky shot with 1HBH,
Tommy Haas BH is good too

Roddick always seems to end up on the wrong side of some of the best one-handed backhand performances (Gasquet at Wimbledon 07, Federer at AO 07, Kohlschreiber at AO 08 ).

I have never seen a 1 hander like Gasquet's in about 20 years of following professional tennis. It is a magic wand.

Gasquet's ralley backhand is actually quite average, his long preparation means that he often drops the ball short, but he can fire winners with his backhand easier than most.

Gasquet is overrated imo, the guy's backhand is not great compared to KOH or Wawrinka.

Eh, even when he drops it short his backhand still has loads of topspin on it. His rally shots usually look pretty heavy to me.

Fed has a sick DTL backhand. It's a shame he only brings it out on special occasions.

this was AMAZING, the two backhands starting at 3:00 in this vid against roddick were stunning

i prefer kohlschreiber's bh too (well for topspin, power, and angles) (for slice and approach shots off the bh its federer)

i agree. given the fact that wawrinka has a better neutral backhand. gasquet can pull the trigger much easier, but both can produce monster shots.

I just watched the match between Mai Xin Gong and Marat Safin. now that guy Mao has a sweet looking backhand, give him time and he'll surpass them all, except of FEDex of course.
