Gasquet actually shouted and fist pumped upon winning yesterday. I've never seem do this. He's playing much tougher these days with Piatti as his coach.

How far behind the baseline will Gasquet be today?
It will be very hard to beat Kolay from 5 to 8 feet back.

A journalist should ask him why is stands back there. Is just a clay court habit?

I don't know if Gasquet even reached top 10 in "strong" era.

As for Ferrer, he had one of his best years in 2007 (reached USO SF and TMC final that year).

Edit: Apparently Gasquet finished last year as #10 but he also finished 2007 as #8.

Well he's number 10 right now. Although his career high was in 2007.

Ferrer's 2012 was better than his 2007 though, wasn't it?

How did he reach top 10 exactly? The only good result I remember from him last year was reaching Canada final.

Apparently he had his career second highest number of wins last season. Probably general consistancy I guess.

It seems so.

Remember that match against Roddick in Wimbldeon QF in 2007 ? I lost count how many BH winners he hit, probably his best slam performance.
