The winner isn't on here. Stand up Doc Hollidae of 'Long Live The Radicals' fame. This man has a great knowledge and love for the Rads and frames of a similar time, plus he also has a very pleasant manner and communicates very well...

but this brings me on to another matter...

WHY ISN"T THERE AN AWARD FOR BEST CLUB?... clubs like Doc's 'Long Live The Radicals', vkv's 'The Dunlop 200Gs', the 'T-Fight Club' (which would win my vote for most original title!)... I mean, come on?!...

sobad,
ths poll would be helpful if it could tell us what racquet each nominee was an ambassador for in the OP.

thanks. btw, You are doing a great job managing the poll.

I think you will get a few votes, because of you're a strong advocate of the larger frame, and that goes a long way. :)

Thanks to Drak, I now play a 90 square inch frame. :) Had to give up my woodies. 65 square inches wasn't enough. :) LOL!

Sorry Drak, but I voted for MC on this one. You've made great contributions in a broad number of areas to this forum, and those are greatly appreciated by a lot of folks here, including me. In this particular category, I had to give MC the vote by a whisker. Breakpoint got my vote for GOAT, and I didn't think he should win in two categories. His knowledge of racquets is very substantial, and has also influenced my choices. I suspect he will get over me not voting for him again. But, will you be sobbing in your beer tonight? ;)

Thanks Ross. I appreciate the compliment.

It was a tough choice between Michael Chaho and NBMJ. Michael seems to be very knowledgeable about frames, however I tend to agree with NBMJ's opinion about mid and midpluses. The absent vsbabolat has always been very informative as well. So my vote goes to NBMJ for the time being with Michael Chaho a very very close second. I dunno how BP got on the list, the category is racket ambassador, not mid size or the highway.

Hey Chess! No problems, and thanks for your post. Quite frankly, I don't know how the heck I even got nominated. (Still pondering that question. ). I mostly make trouble for some of the other posters. LOL

I think Michael, Doc, and vsbabolat should all get a nod on this one. All great guys, and give out information sparingly. They are all great contributors.

BTW, I'm the one that nominated my nemesis (NBMJ). Although I rarely agree with him, he is very knowledgeable about frames.

Thanks for all who voted for me, we are all winners, we love to test out new frames and even though we sometimes disagree, I respect and have high esteem to all my fellow Racquet Ambassadors opinions.:)

How about jdeloach who almost went bankrupt buying all these racquets and demoing them? He probably even had to sell his PC to pay off the debt, as he doesn't post here anymore... : )

Not exactly true. I wrote for years here about the PS 6.0 95 and probably have more posts here about that frame than anyone else. If you do a search you'll see. That's a MP, BTW. Before that, I used the Head Ti.Fire Tour Edition which was a 98. Right now, I'm really enjoying using the Donnay Pro One Int'l MP 95.

I'm certainly not "mid size or the highway". What I am for is freedom of choice or "anti anti-Mid". Not anti-mid, like NBMJ is, whose position is basically that Mids are good for nothing and that MP's can do everything a Mid can do but better. Just not true. There's very much a place for Mids, just like there's a place for MPs and OSs in this world.
