also looking for a bag

looking for a 6-racquet bag with back pack straps. play with a pdr. I really like the bags with the side pockets. I think the babolat bags are ok, but could be better... are there any adidas or nike bags I should check out?

I just bought some used Storm Teams that come with a new babolat tounament bag. I fear it may be toooo big for my needs but we'll see. several reviews said it was small for a tourny bag, so it may be perfect. separate vented shoe and clothing compartments will be nice! I should get it monday.

I bought the 6-8 nike and was not impressed with the quality at all! I sent it back. I did like the organizer built in the accessory pocket tho.

That new adidas looks great, I just can't stand the white with lime green interior.

tell me what you think of the new babolat bag when you get it.

I really like the look of the adidas bag, but I've heard it's pretty big. anyone have it or ever use it? what other bags are there?

it's interesting and I think I like it. I got it today. it is like a big slender duffle. Each end has an upside down U shaped zipper opening that has vents and a waterproof "bag" that extends into the interior of the main storage compartment. The main compartment has a nice large U shaped zipper that opens to 5 or 6 inches wide and the length of the bag to make it really easy to get to the contents. Plus it has a "hard" floor by way of a hard plastic board that fits into grooves in the bottom. I like this as it keeps the bag from being too floppy and unstructured. Besides middle handles, it only has a shoulder strap. at first I thought i wanted backpack straps but the bag is so balanced, it actually does a great job and is very comfortable. One side of the bag has a zipper racquet pocket that holds three racquets (but is tight, which isn't necessarily bad as they don't rattle around.) The other side has the accessory pocket. it's acceptable, a little on the slender side but the zipper opens the thing practically all the way up, so it's easy to access everything. I'd say overall, that's the best thing babolat does with this one, everything opens up wide. This is not the bag for people who want to carry anymore than three racquets. I do wish more bag makers would include dividers and pockets inside bags. make it easier to find what you need quick. Plus I wish this bag had thermo to keep my water cold and energy bars from melting in the hot southern sun. Its def got plenty of room for shoes, clothes and whatnot in the middle. It's going to be perfect for me as several nights a week I play right after work and need to carry a change of clothes and shower supplies, etc.

I'll try to get the time to take pics. the babolat and tennis warehouse sites don't show anything but the exterior.

Get the TW bag. It's great and is only 25 bucks. Lots of pockets, and room for all the goodies. Click on the photo.

Yeah, I like that bag too. I like the smaller 6 pack one with the single sling style back strap! Nice price. too bad they only make it in that dark navy color. would be nice to have options.

thanks for sharing! If my babolat doesn't work out for me, this may be the option I go with!

It has two back straps. It also has a few more smaller compartments that I didn't show. It has one on the side to keep your keys, wallet, phone, etc,

Another in the middle compartment that is netted to keep sweaty wrist bands etc.

and another on the back that goes into the middle compartment. This one could be used to keep shoes in.

ROSENSTAR:
Yeah, it's the first link to the newest nike bag that I was not impressed with.

The babolat classic 12 racquet bag has backpack straps but the Tournament bag does not.

I used my bag last night for the first time in league play, I liked having every thing so easily accessible in that large main opening instead of just a zippered slit like most bags have. Plus those pouches on the ends are great for stowing water and fruit in one and a towel hanging out in the other while on court, easy to have access to it without it getting nasty on the ground or bench. So far, it functions really really well.

The only thing I wish the babolat tournament bag had was a small cell phone, watch, wallet, keys pocket on the outside. I wonder if someone could sew one in and make it look stock? there's plenty of interior room for it to protrude. hmmmm.

I really like the new k-factor bags. A cheaper option might be the Head Extreme bags. I currently have the Dunlop M-Fil bag. I wish it had a side pocket, so I know what you mean.

I got the aerogel 6bag, has thermo so I think its a great buy. Get the 10 pack if you're going aerogel bags.

Nike's bags are ridiculously overpriced, addidas are nice. The barricade bag is nice, check out the kfactors too.

I got the Addidas 6 racquet (black w/white lettering) a few months ago and really like it. One of the reviewers commented on the advantage of a non racquet company logo, in case of switching racquets. I was drawn to that line of reasoning since I like to choose items that will keep options open. I'm glad I did, since I'm currently in love with the Dunlop Maxply McEnroe, instead of my Head fsp Heat.

The size of the bag is just right. Not too big, not to small. Comes with backpack straps, double handle straps, and removable shoulder strap. The only improvement I would like, would be some sort of dividers built into the center misc. pocket, so that balls, wallets, cell phones, keys, water bottles, etc., etc., etc., would not slide up and down in one huge pocket when you use the bag vertically with the backpack straps.

Big Time: I thought about that route with the adidas bag too. I just got the babolat storms after playing my Dunlop Maxplys but if I don't like the babolats (at least as much as the maxply...Love that racquet!), then i'll feel silly carrying around a bag with a big ole babolat logo on it. I was a little concerned with the white bag being hard to keep clean but it would be nice in the summer heat around here. People around here are used to seeing me show up with a different bag every other week, laughing but then they get my review of stuff and I then see them buying and walking around with it the next week. oh well. people. it's my money and I want the best for it.

When I was shopping for a bag I was attracted to any that were bright green or had green accents, however I decided I had better be practical and so went with the all black Addidas bag. Have been using appx twice a week for several months now (indoor, outdoor, in n' out of car, etc) and almost no signs of dirt yet.

Sorry, I didn't drag out my studio strobes on this one but I think you can see the end compartments are big, the accessories is moderate but nice big opening. the main compartment is huge and easy to dig in. and the racquet side is perfect for 1-3 racquets.

I've been using it since and very happy. It's a keeper! it works well on the courts. I recommend it and it's made really well.

Adidas and Nike don't make as good tennis bags as tennis companies like Prince and Wilson so i suggest checking out some Prince bags.. or even better Volkl! :)
