Because there is something called a receipt that you have to send in with them and it has the date on it.

Also you can only return them once.

Went through the Barricade IVs in 3 months, hole just below the toe (essentially, bottom of toes instead of ball of foot). Replacement pair ended up being the same thing.

I've been using Diadora ever since and they last me 9 months of the same play.

I've been able to wear out my Asics Gel Resolutions and Yonex SHT-306's after four months but the Barricades are a lot tougher. I would have to play every day for three hours to wear them out.

mines wore out in just 2 months.. I barely play ( 3 hours a day 5 days, 6 hours on weekends)

It must be nice to have that much time. I've had my Barricade V for 3 months and haven't made a big dent yet. Just minor wearing around the heel. I wore out a pair of new balance shoes in 3 months, though. Those obviously didn't have a 6 month guarantee. I play maybe 3-5 hours a week and I don't slide on the hard courts. Never played on clay. I guess I'm not tougher than the shoes.

Wow Alpha, you are tough on your shoes. Are you dragging them on your motorcycle? :)
Nah, I slide a lot (hard courts) so there was this one day that tear occurred and I didn't know.. I slid, the tear hooked the court and it just ripped.

Now I have to wear these cheapy K-Swiss "tennis shoes" for a month because my mom won't let me buy a new pair of Barricades (with my own money..!), so I gotta wait for Adidas to send me my replacement.. uggh

I'm wearing my Barricades IV for more than a year now, without any problem at all. I play on carpet and rarely clay, 3-4 times a week. It's about a month now though that they started slipping. I've got the Beijing Barricade V, but haven't wear them till now. I think it's about time....
