Pretty straight forward, with the gap in titles no just 1, we review the update:

Djokovic: 6/6 in Finals
Federer: 5/6 in Finals

Federer: 7 Semifinal Exits
Djokovic: 3 Quarterfinal Exits

Overall Record
Federer: 87-13 (87%)
Djokovic: 58-7 (89%)

So the arguments seem to be this, although feel free to add:

Pro Novak
More titles and a higher percentage of winning. Add in winning 6 in 13 appearances at almost half success rate, Djokovic's status here appears to stem from the high-point view. He simply wins at a higher rate.

Pro Roger
Consistency, in 18 appearances he has made the Semifinal stage or better in 13 outtings. Furthermore, this includes a run of 11 consecutive Semifinal or better finishes, only rivaled by Connors at the USO. Add in the total win number is his.

Currently, I'd give Federer the edge due to the many extra SF appearances. Naturally, Federer has a lower percentage since he has been around longer. I expect Djokovic to pull ahead in the future and end his career ahead of Federer as the Aussie Open GOAT.

This. Percentage always goes down after a long career.

Djokovic will end up as the AO GOAT even though Federer does have an argument now in being 1 behind but having so much more history at the event and more deep runs.

I still reckon Djokovic has more HC Slams in him. Pretty positive about it.

I would still hand it over to Nole, maybe, if only for the reason that he should have one. Now, for Fed critics this should be difficult one :D The only point, which they will fully stick, is that Nole has more slams. Interestingly, Nole has better consistency streak at USO and Fed at AO.

Pretty even right now. Novak is no longer undisputed AO GOAT by any means, but I think he will be in the future... again.

Pretty even but Nole with the 1 extra title has a slight edge. Then again fed won on two different surfaces.

Still, nowhere near as dominant as Rafa's 9>1 RG or fed's 7>3>2 Wimbledon or 5>2=2 at USO which confirms who the GOAT is.

There is no contest. Less titles for Roger, losing h2h...
If it was the same no of titles, then finals reached would be the tiebreaker, if still tied, then h2h at the event. End of story.

Fed did great to add another one, but Nole is still the king of AO.

Can't believe anyone voted for Federer. It doesn't get any clearer. Nole has both more titles and a higher winning percentage. There is nothing to argue here.

I agree as stated above.

Just like fed's 06> 15 thanks to more titles, wins, win%, less defeats.
