the first set of the Niculescu-Jankovic FO match was one of the most entertaining sets of tennis i've seen in quite a while. I'd also add Zheng-Ivanovic and Clement-Schuettler at Wimbledon to the list...

Ginepri didn't beat Gonzalez at the FO. He lost to him.

Outside of the Wimby final (epic!), the AO deff had the best matches this yr. Nadal v. Tsonga, Fed vs. Tipsy, Hewitt vs. Baghdatis, Kohlscriber v. Roddick, and the final wasn't that bad either.

nadal vs tsonga wasnt a good match. for tsonga it was cause he was playing well, but nadals game wasnt up to par the way it was between Monte Carlo and the Olympics.

I enjoyed all of Safin's matches at Wimbledon apart from the semi vs. Fed because it stopped working for him.

Muzzer - Gasquet was a classic.

RG final because Rafa's beatdown on Federer was brutal.

French Open final was an instant classic.

It was an instant whooping. The best match of 2008 was the Federer vs Nadal final, now that was a classic that will go down in the record books as one of or the best tennis match of all time.

What was so great about Federer vs. Andreev? it was a poor performence by Fed and he won the match with the help of Andreev's amazing choking abilities. And I'm a 100% Federer fan saying that.

W: The Final and don't say WTA because thats the same quality as Rd 1 Mens

USO: USO was totally bias and unfair, organise time trouble, hurricane, Final on Monday worst USO in a long time so no matches were good there, they got low ratings on tv and rightfully so
