Big NTRP Tournaments (GA, NC)

I have been looking through the tennis link tournament schedule for upcoming tournaments in S.C. and most of them have maybe 10 or so 3.0 singles entries. I was just curious if there are any big tournaments that have bigger draws in say GA, or NC.

In Charlotte, league play is more popular. The tournaments don't see a lot of action. The Banana Cup at Olde Providence is decent, but it was last month. There is one at Blakeney Racquet Club this fall that should be decent. I wouldn't waste my gas money for any of the Jeff Adams tournaments. Big facility, but the courts are garbage. Blakeney, Olde Providence and Weddington are the top 3 venues in Charlotte.

With the new rating levels 10 players in a 3.0 draw is actually quite good. Where I'm at, a lot of tournaments have only had 2 or 3 players in the 3.0 draws this year.

Same here. 3.5 is usually a lot bigger and unless someone is trying for a 3.0 ranking, a lot of 3.0s play in the 3.5 division.
