Hi All,
As some of you might know, 3 years ago I started writing tennis related articles as a hobby. Three of them were published in the two biggest Bulgarian websites for tennis.
1. The first one is titled "Andy Murray - so close yet so far" - it's about how Murray is back at the top, but he still lacks that Slam winning mentality that he had with Lendl in '12/'13. Written in January 2016 - https://www.tenniskafe.com/atp/andi-mari-tolkova-blizo-i-tolkova-dalech/ (in Bulgarian, you can use Translate)
2. The second one is called "The man in the shadows" - it's about Severin Lüthi and his relationship and influence on Federer, which often gets overlooked. Written in March 2016 - http://tennis24.bg/new.php?id=43998 (in Bulgarian, you can use Translate; I will post a version in English below) - 1st place in the 2016 contest for best sports article hosted by S Media (owner of the website)
3. The third one is called "A slightly forgotten victory" - it is about Fed's 2008 US Open win - it's relevance and importance and how it saved his season and chances to break Pete's record. Written in March 2016 - http://www.tennis24.bg/new.php?id=44054 (in Bulgarian, you can use Translate; I will post a version in English below) - 2nd place in the 2016 contest for best sports article hosted by S Media (owner of the website)
The first article I just sent to the website and they published it. The second and third ones were sent to the owners of the website, which hosted a contest for best sports article. I provided both of them and won 1st and 2nd place respectively.
Additionally, I've written some more articles in English, which have not been published anywhere. All of them have been written back in 2015 and early 2016:
1. Rafael Nadal - What now - it's about Rafa's decline ever since 2014, his 2015 season and what comes up next - https://drive.google.com/open?id=13Pl1TyvCBpw_BiihJQ-XYMPcHYSe2q5T
2. Wimbledon 2014, or the (second) turning point in Novak’s career - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1rrLaDXsRULsapgyhTMnDCOak30JFVAv7
3. Stan Wawrinka – from zero to hero, or the man who failed at becoming a failure - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UXuNZ3o8ZSWuMh5Y9lgzeQ8mQDp2A_83
4. Another one man show, return of the Big 4 or the tour strikes back – what does 2016 hold for us? - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1hYDed6FERgvHTrVIsJD__gh9ilzzPBeS
5. Severin Lüthi - the unsung hero in Roger Federer’s camp - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1RxuicIT7Fe6UIPEzULnBkvTNT0T-QFuE
6. Why US Open 2008 is the most important Slam victory in Federer's career - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1LOH8mXSxLgsH2COybJPUiSwRvLd3fFWL
Keep in mind that I've not written anything for over 2 years and perhaps my style needs a bit of overview and/or change
I also own a Facebook page with over 17 000 likes and an Instagram one with about 100 followers. As advertising is not allowed here I will not share the links to them, but if somebody is interested feel free to PM me - I would appreciate every additional follower
Few days ago I was contacted by the owner for https://www.essentiallysports.com/ regarding working together (as a trial) and sharing some of his content on my page.
What do you guys think - about my articles, style, topics? What's possible for me next it to create a website or a blog and connect it to my Facebook/Instagram pages. Do you think there are good opportunities in this? Is it profitable?
Any feedback is appreciated
