Choose My String

Hello all,

Just recovered from a bout of tennis elbow. I play with a Head Youtek Speed MP (16x19) and am looking for a new string to try. I play with lots of spin and loved polys until I got tennis elbow. I grew up playing tennis in the nineties and exclusively used Prince synthetic gut 17.

Choose my string! Thanks for your help!

Volkl's Grabber is a *textured* multifilament that's a bit low on power as multis go but provides a good bit of spin.

You mean Volkl's Gripper. Also, I recommend some 18 gauge kevlar at like 50 pounds. 18 gauge kevlar isn't that hard on your arm, especially when you hybrid it with some synthetic gut.

You have a good arm friendly racket and that is a plus.
Stay away from polys as I discovered that.
Try a hybrid of Biphase 18 with Gosen SM feels just like
gut and have some spin.
Try Gosen SM 16 with Klip Scorcher 17 for great spin.
