Clear pattern that demonstrates why Federer will lose in the final(if he gets there)

It's interesting to see a clear pattern of winning 2 Slam matches in a row between Djokovic and Federer and how it has been changing through the years.

Federer did beat Djokovic at AO-07 and USO-07, then Djokovic won AO-08 meeting. Roger defeated Nole at USO-08 and USO-09, but then came a moment when Djokovic switched this pattern to his favor by winning USO-10 and AO-11. After that Federer won RG-11 clash, but lost USO-11 and RG-12 matches. Since that time Roger won Wimbledon-12 meeting against Djokovic, but lost Wimbledon-14 battle.

Djokovic will win their next match at major because the pattern clearly shows that he should get 2nd victory in a row against Federer at Slam.

yes, incredible work AssaultJoker. All tennis comes downs to win-loss patterns in the end:shock:

it has nothing to do with how they play on the day, everything is already decided.

Let's see if Federer will be able to break the pattern like Nole did at AO-11. But that said Djokovic's AO-11 level is easily the top5 Grand Slams highest level ever played, I'm not sure if Fed can come up with such a high level considering that he was pushed to 5th sets against Monfils(not even a top20 player).

If it's a Novak-Roger final, I hope the Swiss extends his Slam record. Sorry. A bigger fan of the Swiss than the amazing Nole 2.0

It would seem that Djokovic has NEVER won a title when the women's side was won by either Serena OR Wozniacki.

Therefore it is clear by this pattern that Djokovic cannot and will not win USO this year.

It is a foregone conclusion.

Sorry OP.

And one more thing; this pattern ^^^^ is not mutually exclusive with the pattern OP describes.

In order to maintain the integrity of both patterns, it is clear that Djokovic is destined to lose to Nishikori in the semi today :)

Sorry OP.

That is correct logic based on the past. But we cannot let the past affect the present, no? ;)

Quite possible.
In the (If he gets there) part of the thread title, does the "he" stand for Djokovic ? Or have you already pencilled him in for the final ?
