Nadal 2010 -> Djokovic 2021 -> Federer 2009 -> Djokovic 2016 -> Agassi 1999 -> Nadal 2022 -> Djokovic 2023 -> Laver (Sorry not interested in ancient era achievements...2 surfaces against modern 3 at grand slams doesn't help Rocket's case either...)

Oh Agassi easily.. The ONLY real career slam IMO. 4 distinctly different surfaces with great depth of talent on all. No homogenized conditions garbage or just two surfaces like back in the 60's with Laver

Federer's has to be at the top, and here's why.

After his losses to Nadal at Wimbledon 08 & AO 09, his obituary was written. Nadal was the new King of tennis, Federer was yesterday's news, and the retirement questions would start to become a regular thing.

The way he responded is absolutely legendary.

*made all 4 Slam Finals in 2009
*caught PETE (at Wimbledon, fittingly)
*surpassed PETE (at the RG PETE never won, fittingly)
*completed a Channel Slam right after completing the Career Grand Slam

Was a complete rebirth that no one expected, and several records were broken in simultaneous/overlapping fashion.

Agassi - W 92, USO 94, AO 95, RG 99

Federer - W 03, AO 04, USO 04, RG 09

Nadal - RG 05, W 08, AO 09, USO 10

Djokovic - AO 08, W 11, USO 11, RG 16

Djokovic - AO 11, W 14, USO 15, RG 21

Nadal - RG 06, W 10, USO 13, AO 22

Djokovic - AO 12, W 15, USO 18, RG 23

Since all the other players have their first win at each slam listed, shouldn't Laver be "W 68"?

I think you have these two the wrong way round...

Nadal’s 1st > Djokovic’s 1st and 2nd tied > Federer’s, imo.
Thoughts:
Nadal winning the FO on his first ever appearance and beating Federer in the SF = epic. W08 and AO09 were also epics. USO10 could have had a more interesting draw, but the level was just absurd. So, for me, the best.
Then I have a tough time to decide between Djokovic’s. AO 11 is probably a better performance then 08, but I’d put USO 11 over 15. Toss up between the rest. Beat Nadal at RG21, but he got injured and the draw was easier than RG16. Tougher draw at W14, but Federer was post-peak, whilst Nadal was defending champion. I don’t know.
Federer maybe had the most emotional, through that RG09, but despite the insane quality displayed by him, it feels like he had it easiest.

A legendary response would have been had he defeated Rafa at least once in 2009 (preferably at the FO, this would have been an epic comeback). What happened in reality was nothing which we didn’t know before already, that he could beat everyone when Rafa is absent.

Did you watch Agassi's career slam or was that before your time?

It was before my time, so I couldn’t firmly comment on it. Please, take me not including it as a matter of lack of knowledge and not that I don’t necessarily rate it. :)

Fair enough, I mean I didn't see Laver's one, except for some highlights on YouTube. (y)
