Djokodal has been the most predictable H2H for 9 years

Djokodal record since 2013 USO against each other.

9-0 on HC 19-0 in sets Djokovic
1-0 in grass Rarely Meet
7-4 Clay. Nadal near his best always wins

Bar 2021 RG has any match been surprising their last 4 meetings have been on clay and is 3-1 to Nadal.
Minus 2015 it is obvious Nadal wins on clay, Djokovic wins on HC and while W18 was close it was Djokovic only back to his decent level and if they met again he would easily win

Ove this rivalry. Nadal may be the GOAT but Djokovic dominates the H2H in best of 3 matches.
Djokovic Slam record vs Nadal is
2-0 AO
8-2 RG
2-1 W
1-2USO

While Nadal still has better record and more titles than Djokovic at USO. The lob sided slam meetings obviously helps Nadal. Nadal on clay is just the highest Level in tennis history so Djokovic record is not bad on him

The only really “close” rivalry is Fedovic.

Djokodal is too surface dependent. Play in clay and Nadal wins. Play outside of clay and Novak wins.
That’s the point and it has been that since 2013 which is half there careers. It’s so predictable

Yeah exactly, since 2013 bar a select match or two the outcome has been standard. Fedovic has no surface dependence. They’re equally as competitive with each other on every surface.

That is what I loved about Fedovic matches especially best of 3 it was unpredictable

I think 22 of the 50 Nole-Fed matches were straight sets (15 Fed, 7 Nole) so there was also plenty of one-way traffic in those matches as well. However, there were also
plenty of gems as Nadal-Fed and Djoker-Nadal.

Yeah the clay record is getting increasingly predictable. Nadal is 7-0 vs Djokovic on clay since 2016 when healthy. At least Djoker is winning sets though and making matches tough for Nadal, especially at Rome. Nadal barely even gets past 5 games in a set on HC…

Also,

while W18 was close it was Djokovic only back to his decent level and if they met again he would easily win

Why are we rewriting history here? W18 remains the best match Djokovic has played on grass since 2015. He does not have a higher level than this anymore. Moreover, the match was so close INDOORS that acting like Djoker is a done deal to beat Nadal on grass is just wayyyy too biased

So they have played more matches on clay during this time as well - when clay represents only 25% of all the matches. ummhmm.

I agree. With Fedal for a way too long time Federer was only favoured indoors and on grass (and that those matches were rarely played anyway), and then later Nadal was only the favourite on clay.

With Fedovic on each surface it was quite the same, and nobody was a clear favourite.
