Djokovic breaks his own points record!

Before today, the points record was held by Djokovic at 16,790 points after Doha 2016 earlier this year.

After winning the French Open, he's broken his own record and now has a whooping 16,950 points!

Funnily enough, 19 tournaments are counted for the ATP rankings, Novak has only played 17. So he could possibly play a grass warm up tournament and add to this ranking points before Wimbledon to be the first 17k man!

I doubt Gary Weber offers anywhere near Dubai and Beijing. He probably makes more from those 2 500s than any of the masters for appearing. It's not worth it for Novak to go to a 500 if they're not shelling out the same type of dough those two probably are.

Agree, and I highly doubt that he will play grass or anyother ATP500 anytime soon. His long time shedule is perfectly balanced .
