Does lead tape affect the flexpoint?

I have a flexpoint radical tour and it felt abit unstable so i added a 3 grams of lead tape to its 3 and 9 oclock. Since that is exactly where the flexpoint holes are, i wounder if the lead tape could affect how this racquet work.

the question you should be asking to begin with is "do the flexpoint hols even change the flex to begin with?"

i say no, but many will prob disagree with me.

if you feel any different after applying lead tape, it's probably the lead tape and not the flexpoint holes.

I think head should release a slow motion close up video of agassi striking a ball with the flexpoint so we can all see the flexing at work.

If what they say is trueabout the way flexpoint works....well, yer in for deep trouble when you strike the ball in the upper hoop. Imagine the super extra flex just in the upper hoop sending the ball randomly in another direction.

I'm with you, MoD. I just can't see how this 'technology' can work.

technically speaking, it works, but really I don't think it makes such an impact. Infact I think the consistency of the string bed maybe affected by this flexpoint stuff.

it doesnt work, its a verry nice racquet, but the flexpoint is a bunch of bs...

as for the agassi comment, you would have to get him to hit with a fp rad first before you can get a slow mo video of him hitting a ball with one...

as for the lead tape, you wont have any problems adding tape to the 3/9 oclock positions...

Most everyone I know who's hit with a FP (self included) felt that it had a very different feel and response compared with the non-FP counterpart, so something different is going on.
