Does switching between different branded tennis shoes affect your game/health?

I started tennis wearing the Nike Vapor 6s, then moved to 7, then 8 and then 9, 9.5. I didn't like the Vapor X so since then I've kind of stopped caring and just bought whatever looks cool/suit my game and on sale.

I use to only have 1 pair of the vapors at a time but as I got more serious about tennis I started getting more shoes, from many different brands. I guess I was trying to search for the next best thing after the 9.5s.

Zach the foot doctor on youtube in one of his videos said that trying different shoes affects his game and foot as you always have to adjust and it really made me rethink about this. Perhaps the foot injuries I've had in the past could be due to switching between shoes.

I currently own shoes from Diadora, Mizuno, Babolat, Le Coq, Nike that I switch depending on outfit/court surface/social or matches etc. For example, if I'm looking for comfort or durability I choose my diadora or babolat, for speed my Mizuno, le coq etc.

Now that the Vapor 9.5 came back and I've bought 2 pairs, I don't know if I should still switch between shoes and whether to continue to buy different brands in the future.

Thoughts?

I have many shoes and I rotate through them. But most of them are the same shoe. I use new balance 1006 and Adidas barricade classic.

If they are all comfortable, then I think you're fine wearing all of them. Important things:
1. Don't use a shoe too long, once it's worn out, throw it away.
2. Get proper arch support, you don't want to get plantar fasciitis.
3. Get good insoles you like and replace often, your feet will get damaged if you don't.
4. Get good socks and replace old, worn out ones.
