Why would you have any reservations with a tension that is below the "recommended" range?

What string are you putting in it? You probably wouldn't want to put a poly in at the recommended tensions. A lot of those recommendations on the racket were put there before a lot of players were using poly.

It was poly Ytex Protour
Soft string. Good tension maintenance, feel.

Do it long enough and someone will come along and ask for:
[1] Extremely low tensions in the 20-30's # range; any string from poly to multifibre; latest was 32# in a Blade 93 using a multifibre...
[2] Extremely high tensions in the 70-80's; polys to NG including Kevlar
[3] Proportional stringing; you or they provide the tension for mains and crosses
[4] Weird hybrids using 3 string types; had to mod some holes for additional tie offs
[5] Strange patterns not normally encountered, ie 16x19 to 12x16.
The universe is a strange place......

50 is a good tension for that stick. I play the 4D100, and over 55 robs it of a lot of options.

@Ryebread tension recommendations on the frame are based on "normal" string, not poly. Typically, poly users go low.
