Yeah, that's a fair point.

If Roger can beat Rafa in a slam, then he will go a long way in convincing his critics.

Naaa, even if Fed wins against rafa...most likely fed haters will say...roger is arrogant, roger is bla bla bla bla...so really, it's pointless!

Yeah, if Federer beats everyone easily, he's in a weak era, but if he loses to Rafa, he's "not even the best of his own generation". He can't win.

Fed is nearing the end, he is not the player he was back in 2004 to 2007. Sadly we have all ready seen as close to we're going to get to a peak Nadal vs Fed.

Assuming Nadal is able to recovery from these injuries, he should be able to take over as the #1 in a big way.

For the record, I don't even like Nadal.
