Hello, Im 28 years old. Spanish tennis coach. I Started playings tennis in 2013. I dont know if im 4.5 5.0, because i ve trained with top 400 spanish and in competition i ve play with top 600 spain, but also i can lose with 4.0 players. Maybe i think because lack of playing tournaments (Im not mr Consistency). I play with Eastern forehand (very good forehand), very bad 2 hand backhand, good slice backhand and forehand and i like to finish sometimes on the net and make dropshots.

i ve played pacific /fischer racket since 2015. First Pacific X force pro and Fischer magnetic mpro 320gr. Later i change to Pacific X tour pro (More power). Now i can say that x tour pro is really easy to swing and really good for teach when ball speed of tennis lesson is medium to low. X tour pro has some problems.

1. Playing with poly, sweetspoot is not good. Outside sweetspot no power.
2. Head size is maybe 93-94 sq inches. If i play in not good condition courts, sometimes i lose points because of this, its so demanding.
3. With multi fiber, not so much spin. I can hit a great speed ball but not so much spin.
4. I can play reall nice with x tour pro, much points, often games, sometimes sets, but not so much matches.
If the rallys are longs, in the 6th 8th 10th shot hit outsite sweetspot and i lose the advantage of the point.

So since summer 2017, im trying to replace my x tour pro. I have tested.

Fischer Pro Classic 98.
Same mold of x tour pro. 320gr Unstrung. Sweetspot is better than x tour pro, power is less than x tour pro.
Really nice to teach. NO POWER. Its 68cms Long. X tour pro is better on serves. Fischer pallet are not good compared to pacific grip system, i really like pacific grip system.

Fischer Pro classic +1.5 Pacific Pro stock Goluveb.
Similar mold of Pro classic but 1cm more. Less stiff than x tour pro, but xl version not give me enought profit on serves. maybe 1sts servers are more powerfull, but also more DF. Not so much power than x tour pro, but less manoeuvrability .

Pacific x fast pro BX1.
Compare to players frame its more easy to use. Much more power, decent directional control. I can play rallys of 12-18 Balls with 5.5 Players. With the others rackets i want to win i have to short the points. Better returns, but lack of feel. In the baseline much more easy than players pacific fischer frame.

The problem with x fast pro is serving. Ive played from 2015 with 10 HL balance. X force pro, X tour pro, And other are 10 HL. If you add xtended lenght and more weight in the head im struggling with serving with x fast pro, a lot of DF , less power on serves, and shoulder pain. Also x fast pro moving in the air is less faster than x tour pro.

So i need some help.

Its normal feeling x fast pro a little heavy to swing in serve?

Im open to change to another racket, I like directional control of x tour pro, but with a bigger sweetspot and more easy to play.

Im considerer wilson ultra 100 (first model) Wilson ultra tour, and new Blade 98L (With a leather grip).
What are the feeling of these rackets? Is good? Muted feel? I dont like babolat vibration feel.

I mail pacific asking for new frames and talking about my desire of 100 Sq, and 305gr X tour pro.

And What about Wilson RF 97L with leather grip?
With a custom spec 300gr and 320 mm balance unstrung, can be a good mix of forgiving, control and power?

Thanks for the confidence @haqq777, I'll try my best...

So, @Ted Straiker , just to clear a few things up...were you using the X Tour 97 (which is based off the Pro Classic 98)? You mentioned it was 93-94 sq in, but its really 97. If so, I agree with you on all of your points, which is why I use the X Tour 97 for doubles only. Its excellent at the net, but from the ground I lose consistency and power. However, since I serve & volley off both serves in doubles, and usually try to get into the net quickly when returning, I rarely hit more than 2 groundstrokes per point.

Regardless...yes, the BX1 X Fast Pro was very sluggish, and the 2nd generation (aka BX2 X Fast Pro) was actually worse. Its my understanding that the new version (BXT X Fast Pro) is much better, but I haven't hit with it so I cannot comment. Somebody had a thread on the new frames, but the TT search isn't working right now, so I cannot find it.

I have hit w/ the Ultra Tour 97, and can tell you that it is an excellent feeling frame. However, you will find that is extremely low powered. Maybe with some lead at 3 & 9 you can increase it, but I doubt by much.

One frame that intrigues me (and I'm about to throw it in a demo box from Tennis Warehouse) is the Volkl V-Sense V1 Pro (http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Volkl_V-Sense_V1_Pro/descpageRCVOLKL-VSV1P.html). Its 100 sq in (ok...99.5, but close enough), mid 60s flex, 23mm beam. It is a tad heavier in the balance than I like (3pts HL), but its also only 310g unstrung, so maybe slap a leather on it and be done.

Hi @McLovin , ive been use x tour pro for two years. I like from x tour pro lower swingweight, so Volkl v-sense with leather grip maybe be on 325......

RF 97L with leather grip, has constant and thin beam, can be more forgivin than x tour 97?

Compare to other 98 head size, 97 of x tour pro is less wider than most of frames.

If i only play tennis, 3 4 times for weet, maybe i continue with x tour pro.

But teaching 5-6 hour all days, with juniors competition x tour pro has lack of pace, and if i play in old tennisquick surface more lack of pace.

Ultra tour is forgiving?

Yeah, its SW is 317 stock. Not sure what adding weight in the handle will do to it. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to measure SW, and the manual calculations never work for me.

I'm not a fan of the RF97 line. It felt stiff to me. But, I know some who loved it, so I guess you'd need to try it yourself.
Ultra tour is forgiving?
I felt it was an extremely comfortable frame. If it was 16x20 instead of 18x20, I'd probably have one in my bag (not a fan of 18x20 patterns). Here's a recent review from @J011yroger on the Ultra Tour 97 (start with this post, then peruse further to get his overall impressions):

i played with all pacifics in the last few years, and while they are undoubtedly comfortable, and all very competent, nothing was "amazing" the tour pro 97 i didnt enjoy, too stiff and no power at all. x force pro in bxt form was the best, but never wowed me, although it was very nice, x fast pro similar to pure drive below. i also played with all babolats, and again whilst loving the pure aero / pure aero tour, it was only effective if you wanted to hit every forehand like rafa. new pure drive just felt too unwieldly and massive, and I never really felt like i knew where the ball would end up. currently i alternate between prince classic graphite 100 (nice feel, little bit light on the volley), POG OS (heavier but more solid, amazing on slice and to make you hit the ball like agassi) and puma becker super (my favourite all time frame, amazing on slice and volleys and makes for the most attacking tennis). all have pros and cons. hmmm...............................a constant battle.
