Homework help :P - to do with tennis

Figured someone on here could help me with this homework as it is to do with tennis, I need as many suggestions as possible into the types of skills particular players need in order to function at their best, for example a serve and volleyer needs good reflexes and flexibility, please give advice by giving the type of player and then the skills needed(I need as many as possible) Thanks for your help.

Are you talking about components of fitness? (I see you are in Nottingham so could be on the same exam board :p)

Nolemurray,

I have not matched up the following to specific playing styles, but please see this general List of qualities/characteristics for tennis players that I came up with. Of course, there are many others that we could possibly add.

-eye/hand coordination in order to make proper contact/place shots, and hit all different types of shots
-stamina (both long term over a long match and short term, meaning the ability to handle large fluctuations in heart rate etc as you go from one point to the next with short breaks in between)
-quickness
-agility
-flexibility
-strength
-intelligence (point construction especially, but also adapting strategy)
determination
-concentration
-pain tolerance (breathing hard, muscular fatigue, battling the elements)
-self-confidence (no team in singles, no coaching during matches)
-resiliency (recovering after each match during a tournament and recovering between tournaments)
-power of shots
-consistency of shots
-side to side movement
-movement forwards and backwards
-angled running/sprinting

Never forget: a tennis player needs a hot girlfriend, at least if he wants to earn TTTWers' respect, it would seem. :-/
