How are Prince's handle sizes? (Textreme Tour 95)

I'm used to Wilson's 3/8 with an OG, and I have the chance of buying some brand new Textreme Tour 95 for a low price but the grip size is 1/4. I can't try the racquet personally so I'm restricted to just word of mouth.

Thanks in advance.

I find prince and wilson grip sizes very similar...with the prince maybe maybe ever so slightly smaller..

It's probably going to feel small to you. For me, a small grip is easier to adjust to than a bigger one.

These measurements are what you would see if you took the butt cap off and looked at the end. The measurements are small but noticeable to our hands.

Wilson racquets have varied in overall size and ratios over the years. What model 3/8ths are you used to?

Prince are a tiny, tiny bit smaller than Wilson. Going to a slightly thicker grip brings them up fairly even. That being said, getting a 1/4 Prince to feel like a 3/8+OG Wilson would involve building up the handle some. You can do that with a few layers of mesh drywall tape without adding too much weight, but for me to do that it would have to be either a really screaming deal where I knew I could resell it after trying it and buy the right size, or a racquet that is out of production.

nothing so different you can't adjust for with different grips / overwraps, but going from a 3 to a 2 and back up to a 3 you will have to adjust. then there is the roundness you will have to deal with.

I find putting a supergrap og underneath the base grip and wrapping tightly with no overlap suffices in building up about half a size without compromising the bevel feel. So maybe just put 2 og on top of base grip to get back to your original size
