One of those days when you just attack the week head-on and really sink your teeth into it. How is everyone doing?

It is 2100 in NZ right now. Had no work today, so decided to spend the day in Auckland City instead. A good day.... probably hit the hay in about an hour...

Had a conference call I had to put aside for a couple of minutes to return and learn nothing of importance is being said except that someone is going to forward urgent matters to me. Surprise, surprise, over an hour later I have 0 new e-mails from same people.

A guy tells me something is fixed. Deja vu moment. We had this same conversation last Thursday. I expect it to stop working by noon tomorrow.

I see. So you just sit around all evening at a downtown Auckland café sipping drinks, smoking cigarettes, and looking down on the lowlife flowing by in the street?

This man doesn't smoke. There are quite a few homeless people that do drugs and huff glue in front of you, so I tend to just avoid them though....saw Hercules today as well. Was average.

Apparently a minor tennis tournament is in town. All the players (that I didn't even know were staying at my hotel) just came down for breakfast. Some of these girls look like they can play! Got the expensive gear and all and they are pretty cute too :)

    Night Auditor @ a hotel 11p-7a.m
Some nights it's really busy. I still have 4 arrivals right now, but when I'm not checking someone in, the actual work I have to do nightly takes about 90 mins.

Monday can be lost on a Tuesday's Sunday dream while flying. The key is to explain this dynamic to the benevolent man or woman in charge of personnel and travel expenses while at a hotel pool.

Everyone is greedy these days. They recruit naïve men and women and train them to be greedy, to pinch every penny they can lay their once-clean hands on. But the dog is no better than its master. Ignorance is no defense, for deep in their heart the naïve know the line of benevolence before they choose to cross it. And when you confront them with the truth, don’t let them get away by playing the victim – hold them accountable for their actions to send the message along the chain.

It's 2:56am Tuesday night or Wednesday morning ... take your pick. I don't remember Monday morning. I think it must have gone ok though, since it's almost Wednesday morning and I don't remember it.

Time marches on, that much is true. I remember we had a discussion on what time to wake up the next morning (http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=141383) once upon a time and the debate actually ended up running for a couple of years, as I recall.

Earlier this week, my friend who plays with Wilson racquets invited me to have lunch at an Indian place. I told him I already had plans. I went home and microwaved some black beans out of a can. I put some lightly salted butter and finely chopped garlic on top and it was rather delicious!
