used to be 4 for first serve and 3 for second but I realized that my mind should be set before I step to the line and the ball bouncing was taking my focus off task at hand.

Now it is 1 for first, 2 for second just to pace things.

What is the rule on catching your toss ? Can you catch your toss 6-12 times each time you serve. ???? I would really love to do this since i have some inconsistant toss problem. but i dont' because, i consider it a bad sportsmanship. but i don't think there is a rule against it.

it's legal, but like you said, everybody is going to stop playing with you if you do that.

Two times. Its part of my service routine now, cant help it.

Before I used to bounce it four times, sometimes even counted on my head, but I changed my service motion and one of the things I tried to do was bounce it less, cause I felt I got too mechanic with my old motion. Im trying to have a more fluid service motion now, and I think having less bounces has helped

A random amount, between 1 to maybe 5 at most. For second serves I usually only take one bounce. But if its like break point on my serve then I'll take my time and toss it about 4-5 times.

I always dribble the ball with my racket when I'm walking up to the line to serve (making sure the ball doesn't bounce on any lines) Then when I'm in the ball-bouncing position I spin my racket twice in my hand, and bounce the ball once. Same routine for my second serve.

Four times with my left hand. Sometimes I'll slice it into the ground facing the back fence when composing or toweling myself off, and just dribble downward with my racquet while walking to the baseline. But always four times once I reach the line.
