Who is talented enough to do it on ANY surface? Fed hasn't either!

See this is why you can't really take this as a measurement for how great of a player someone is. Obviously it's easier to win smaller tournaments and if Federer really cared about winning a title as many times as possible he would have just played Estoril a hundred times and would have 90+ titles of one tournament

FTW.
Not to mention that many of Federer's Masters victories came from the best of five days, rather than the current girly best of three.

Even so, Federer does have tournaments he plays virtually every year. Dubai, Halle, Basel, etc. He's very dominant at those tournaments, winning each of them five times, but he's played them a lot of other times and has lost some questionable finals in recent years. Haas and Hewitt on grass?

Federer can with his future( 2 more which is possible) 8 WTFS on Indoor Hard, future (1 more) 8 Wimbledons for sure on Grass, and 8 ( 3 more) Cincy on Outdoor Hard.

Unlucky that Basel is indoor.

He has 6 Madrid Clay/Hamburg mix....just need 2 more there. Very Possible....and even more if it was Blue Clay.

RNadal is bidding to win his 8th title at Roland Garros tomorrow. So that makes-

-8 Monte Carlo titles
-8 Barcelona titles
-Potentially 8 Roland Garros titles (if he wins the final)
-Potentially 8 Rome titles (if he wins the title next year)

What a monumental achievement.

Nadal just moved to #3 (tied with Emerson at 12) for most majors (both open and pre-open eras). With his 8th FO win, he moved ahead of Laver and Borg.

If Nadal wins Rome 2014, he will have won four titles at least 8 times. If Nadal wins any one of Barcelona, Monte Carlo and Roland Garros this year, he will be the first man in open era history to win a title 9 times.

I don't think he'll win 3rd clay master 8 times even on red clay (he's currently at 2) but M-C: check, Barcelona: check, I think RG will be next. Rome is quite possible too.

Obviously he took care of Monte Carlo, but this was the obvious answer being the only ones he can get in 2-3 years. I wonder if he will get to ten at any of them.

You cannot be serious. That's another 10 majors.

I personally think:

1 Australian Open
8 French Opens
2 Wimbledons
2 US Opens
Whilst trying to find proof that N$K was accidentally some sort of spastic prophet, I discovered that the real prophecy is always in the comments. Just one RG title too modest!

Edit: To truly believe in N$K's genius, you have to first completely ignore the part about Nadal winning eight Wimbledon trophies

We may have N$K and 90s Clay, but it does appear that every other Djokovic fan back then was like that.

Well not all. Some were friends of mine, but became hostile later which also made me sort of negative. I've never had anything against Joker, was actually his fan long ago, but some fans here just rubbed me the wrong way. btw, you can type NSK without it getting starred out.

Truly the god of clay. Surely will reach 10 on at least 2 of them and possibly RG.

IIRC Fed has

7 Wimbledon
8 Halle
7 Cincy
7 Dubai
7 Basel

Hope he can get to 9 Halle this year. Shame he choked MP vs Zverev was it? Last year otherwise would be there. Had the 1 finals vs Haas and Hewitt too!

If he gets 12 french opens....they better changes the tournament name.

Nadal Open.....abbreviated NO (as in no one else wins lol)
And if he wins 14 (or maybe more) Roland Garros titles, what name would be the most appropriate?

In 2012, we have already seen a number of amazing achievements from Nadal. We have seen him win his 8th consecutive Monte Carlo title (spanning all the way back to 2005), his 6th Rome title, and his 7th Roland Garros title. He also won Barcelona for the 7th time. Next her, he will have the opportunity to win a record-breaking 8th Roland Garros title, and 8th Barcelona title, a 7th Rome title, and, of course, a 9th Monte Carlo title. In 2014 he could then win Rome for the 8th time. This would mean that Nadal would have won 4 different tournaments at least 8 times.

Not only that, but Nadal's longevity could mean he could rack up titles 8+ times on different surfaces too. Given Nadal's recent dominance at Wimbledon, it is possible that he could go on to win the next 6 titles in a row, or 6 or the next 7 at the very least. This could put him at an unprecedented 8 Wimbledon titles, more than Sampras and of course Federer. That's 5 different tournaments won 8+ times. The question is, at how many tournaments can he accomplish this feat?

RG, MC and Barcelona. Maybe Rome. After this year's SW19, I wouldn't bet on him making it to 4 titles.

Most LOLworthy poast was NadalAgassi saying Nadal will win 19 slams, including 12 FOs.
Really?
