How much do your ratings differ between TR vs TLS?

TR 3.41
TLS 3.44 (does not include my last 2 matches which I won 6-1, 6-0, which I hope will give me a bigger bump)

Due to age, I can only play in 18+ and I am nearing the end of the season and thus, the end of the matches that count towards yr end rating.
Wonder why TLS has me higher than TR.

According to these sites, I might be close to being bumped, but how would I know with more certainty? Patience waiting for year end is not my strong suit.

They use different formulas, so they produce different ratings. They can be quite different. I have seen as much as a 0.4 difference on several occasions. For myself the difference is 0.1.

Mine differ by almost .14 (TR being low and TLS higher). My @schmke rating when I got it differed from TR by about .30. My case may be strange because out of 10 matches I had 2 dubs matches with a self rate and 1 singles match against a self rate that @schmke did not factor in to the rating.

TLS has me 0.11 ratings points ahead of TR. Schmidt has me 0.28 ahead of TR. So...they're all over the place.

It is hard to see how TLS moves your rating from match to match but TR does some weird things. I played a match on 4/7 - my partner was a 4.09 and I was a 4.08. We had both played about the same number of matches over the year, mostly with each other. We lost the match 6,2 against two players (4.21 and 4.30). The match rating for my partner was 4.13 and he moved up from 4.09 to 4.17 <- weird. The match rating for me was a 4.12 and I moved up from 4.08 to 4.09 <- sounds right.

It’s not necessarily about the match data being added but also about the older match data being dropped on a rolling basis.

Have you had a report done by Shmeke? Yours would be really interesting at year end whether you get bumped or not.

I have not, but I plan to toward the end of the year (depending on cost... I make a very modest living). This will be my first full year in USTA (only four matches that counted last year) and I will have a large sample of matches for them (and Shmeke) to rate me with.

Until I saw that TLS number, I was certain I was getting bumped next year. Now I'm not so sure.
