Yet he had an additional day's worth of rest against Djokovic for BOTH AO finals and was sent home with the RU trophy. Like the extra rest really made the difference there for him...
Unlike Djokovic, Nadal's physical condition was better in his 20s than in his 30s.
Surprise, right?

The physcial condition quickly went downhill after being 3-1 up in the fifth set against a guy in his mid 30s? Lol

No, Nadal's level in the final dropped a lot after the almost five hours of high intensity that his match against Dimitrov lasted.

But he had 48 hours to recover. The same amount that he would have after a RG, W and USO semi, or would he not?

Ned wins 2010 and 2013 pretty comfortably, 2017 with a struggle, and about 50/50 with 2011.

Fed wins 2008 and 2009, both relatively comfortably.
Most logical one. Nadal probably wins 2010 and 2013 in straight sets, 2017 he likely wins in 4 sets due to Fed's back issues, and 2011 I think he edges Fed due to the mental edge he had on Federer around that time (Similar to RG 2011 and AO 2012).

Fed wins pretty easily in 2008/09 as Rafa wasn't in the right form to beat Fed in 08 and was hampered in 09 like Fed was in 17

2008 I would probably say the form gap just gets Fed over the line but that isn't a given.

Agree 4-2 Nadal is most fair.

There’s nothing to say nadal wins 2011. Much quicker court than 2012 AO semi was, where fed through late outplayed nadal but lost to attrition. On a quicker court the edge goes to fed to it’s a 5 setter. There’s no data to say nadal can beat fed on a a quicker surface over bo5.
