Improving movement beyond just speed and footwork

With my game right now, movement has kind of hit a wall. My actual running speed is pretty good but maybe slightly below average for someone my age and fitness level. My actual setup footwork is a strong point. I split step for every shot, take more than enough steps, find a good balance of open vs closed stance forehands and rarely plant myself too early leaving me reaching for a ball. However, anything having to do with balance is pretty trash. My sliding ability even on clay is almost non-existent, and find that my ability to hit on the run is okay but not great. Basically, if I get pulled out of the middle of the court, I am able to retrieve balls but I often leave myself out of position to get back in the point afterward. I've always been pretty bad at balance sports like skateboarding/ice skating/etc. In that last year, barbell squats in the gym have really helped with speed, explosiveness on ground strokes, and making sure I get low enough on strokes. However, the balance oriented problems from before are still just as bad.

Does anyone have any tricks or drills for improving these aspects of movement? Any help would be much appreciated.

I use these types of drills with my kids/adults I train in the gym to help with speed and transition, I also use them myself and have found it helps my reaction improve thus improving my speed to react as well:

biggest one I can suggest is using the bosu to help with balance, especially for uneven surface movmeents

those are insanely difficult balance drills: the one where the 2 kids are on the big ball - I'm not even sure I could balance like that without trying to swing a racquet. it's a great way to build core strength and balance.

I should of mentioned that ignore the kids and the stabillity balls. Everything else in the video is relevant, especially the single leg work that focuses on strength and reaction/transition
