Is Djokovic deserving of pity?

That's the moment I think we all realized that Rolex commercial might've been right - sometimes there's more to this sport than just numbers.

The Rolex commercial was a nice idea done badly. They should have just put a clip of everything that happened in Fed's career - good and bad - and made the message "what do numbers tell you about the drama of all this, the highs and lows?" Would have been more truthful and not upset anybody.

Yep, it's basically the same line that Djokovic fans used to repeat back when he was far down in the Slam race. "Numbers don't show you what he had to overcome physically and emotionally. Novak is a legend in his own right for more than just the stats."

Novak is the best tennis player who ever lived ... when Nadal's not injured of course ... so I'm not sure what's to pity.

I cried when he cried. He deserves some sympathy.

As I always say, I will never pity a player with 20 slams.
I don’t have pity for Nadal’s injuries.
For Fed’s choking or more
And even as a Djokovic fan I’ll never have pity for him.
These players have achieved so much and while I respect them I don’t feel any pity for a person that got 20 slams, millions of dollars playing the game they love
