Is Djokovic using a new racquet?

read my warning to Wilson,

when we get a clear close up of his new PJ Kblade we will know just like this

http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showpost.php?p=1664387&postcount=14

well I guess we have a clearer close up, it is no Kblade that we can get in the store, check the outer mains and how they intersect the lower cross,

What about the Flexpoint radical tour??

Im thinking of buying one

LM radical tour and FP radical tour almost the same?

the stock LM radical MP is a toy, light and hollow, I doubt Joker is using it, even if he leaded it up, it will not work, I tried to match a stock LM radical to a TOUR to no avail, it rendered the stock LM radical useless.

i think your right he probs would use a tour

Didn't TW say he was using the 93" tour ? - that looks like a 98" mp to me.
im pretty sure it is the 93'' when i was watching the hopman cup it looked like the 93'' but maybe it is the 98'' you know these pros have there racquets customized or painted to look like other racquets

He is using the same headsize as he was before, his rackets just have the blade tour pj...so I guess TW has gone with the pj instead of what he is actually using concerning headsize.

It def looks 98'', I think the black pj just makes it look smaller

nope not a tour 93 since the pattern and holes skipped are the same as head PC mid or head PC 600 where the outer three mains intersect the lower three crosses. In the photo where joker is using a PJ of Kbalde only the outer two mains intersect the lower two cross. same pattern but different holes skipped so it is not a 93 that we can buy, could be a special 93 only made by wilson that we can not get so far, but I doubt it

Wilson made him a copy of his head MP with 18X20 mold, it could be anything from the frames I have listed with the exact holes skipped

TW cannot go with what he's actually using because it's been discontinued. They always need to go with the paintjob since that's what the brand is marketing as being used by that particular pro, just like when Djokovic was shown using an nBlade paintjob.

my question is why Wilson cant give us the racquet that the Joker is actually using (or at least from the same mold) they might not be willing to duplicate the layup due to cost but i dont see why they cant release the mold

like releasing the true Fed racquet mold to consumers in the Kfactor

(unless it is an exact duplicate to the Head PT 280.)

then i can see some problems occuring

I just asked a question about copyright infringment on racquets. Has a sporting goods company ever been sued for copying a racquet?? I would think it has, but I never heard it.

i believe Wilson sued Prince cause their triple threat line was too similar to the Hammer line

It wouldn't sell. Its not powerful enough to appeal to a large enough audience and it doesn't have those game improving gimmicks.

He's using a version of the LM Radical frame, and Wilson thinks their customers are stupid enough to fall for paintjobs.

which is another reason why I think it might be a copy of the PT630/280 iprestige mold etc..., also no ridges found on the painted Kblades/nblades leads me to believe he might have dropped the LM radical tour( that is if he was really using it) to maybe even a painted MG prestige MP without the caps.

Just to clarify, when you say Rad Tour 260, which exact frame are you referring to? The Bumblee (1st one ever), a so-called Zebra that followed the previous entry, the Twin Tubes that followed the zebras, or a later one?

Oh. And BTW, regarding the possibility that Djoker may use a real LM Rad under a pj - is it only me who would be amazed at the idea that a pro like him might use a genuine LM Rad?... surely there aren't other pro's wielding genuine LM Rads?!

The LiquidMetal Radical has the same EXACT string pattern as the older PT frames. You can use either Standard/CAP grommets for both frames. Djokovic has never been photographed using the PT280, but he has been photographed with the LiquidMetal Radical WITH physical bumps (LM ridges.) If you also compare the shapes of the PT vs the LM Radical, you obviously tell it's no PT mold.

The LM paint is still the same color tone on Djokovic's rackets ---vs--- the LM paint job frame of Safin which has three different tones/colors. It's quite obvious if you want to be honest with us.

So AlpineCadet, are you saying that the racquet Djoko is using now, the one painted like a KBlade Tour, has LM ridges? No ridges, no LM. Definetly no Flexholes. So what other posibilities are there beside PT630?

I'm talking about his racket history, right before Wilson CUSTOM MADE HIM A RACKET TO MOCK HIS OLD FRAME BEFORE HE SIGNED WITH WILSON. FYI: His current racket is not an older racket with a Wilson paintjob, nor does it even have the same exact shape as the PT630.

I agree with Alpine. It is probably just a custom racket made to the exact specs that Djok likes that wilson will probably never sell.

That's what everybody is saying all along. Wilson made a racquet identical with his old Head racquet. We know that from Djoko himself. Nobody is saying that Wilson is painting PT630s like KBlade Tours. We don't know exactly what his old Head racquet is.

yes LM radical, PAINT JOB's. I am referring to the MOLD it could also be a PT280, iprestige MP But for sure it is no Kblade or nblade that you and I can buy from the store.

I agree, 100%. What did Novak use before his Wilson contract started? A LM Radical that was under 12oz unstrung (according to Jura.) Getty Images confirms this, and his current frame has the exact same string pattern as the Radical. Not very hard to understand. To claim that it was a 12+ ounce racket, like say, the Pro Tour 630 is stretching the truth. Let's be honest, and stick with the facts.

It hasn't been confirmed whether or not it's LM Radical Tour. Check out Jura's specs to see if they match the LM Radical Tour. IMHO, it's the LM Radical but with personalized weight distribution, since the LM Radical Tour probably isn't 100% suited/perfect for Djokovic's preferences. Djokovic has NEVER been photographed using the PT630/280 frames.

Yes, that's what it looks like to me as well.

And since the TT Warrior plays NOTHING like either the PT630 nor the LM Radical, this is just more evidence that pros do actually change to racquets that play and feel very differently than what they grew up using. The Bryan brothers are another good example (HPS 5.0/6.1 to Speedport Black).

BTW. In this German tennismagazin of december 2003. I know it's long time ago but i think it has some valuable information has the specifics of Federer's racket at that time.
The weight of his racket is 355 grams and the balance point is 31,7 cm. On clay his weight is 362g(32,1 cm) On grass 355 g(31,7) Hardcourt 358 g(31,9) and in Halle, A grass tournament in Germany his racket weighted 360 g and the balance point was 31,8 cm
As you see he changes his set-up but the changes are minor like any pro.
He played the same racket he uses now and the headsize is 580,5 cm.
