Not trying to sound offensive but if you have to ask how to accomplish this you are probably getting into more racquet than you need at this time.

He may be a pro and afraid to disclose his name.
He may, but if he's a pro, would he even consider asking a FORUM OF NON TENNIS PROFFESSIONALS how to lead up his racket... I mean come on, get to thinking.

To gugafan : I think, just like the rest, that you're just taking on much more than you can handle. Even if you put 3 grams somewhere on the frame, you will feel it clearly. Work in steps, you have no idea how this might kill your racket.

Or your arm, for that matter..

With the attitude he has, I would imagine noone will help him out and he will have to do like normal ppl that aren't lazy and want to be spoon fed and get on the TW university and learn.

The balance of Gaudio's racquet is 30.8 cm or 12.1 in, and the weight is 363g unstrung. My racquet is even balance and 289g unstrung. For the balance what do I list? 13.5in, 0in? Help is greatly appreciated.

For "balance" in cm you have to measure from the handle to the balance point. If your racket is "even balance" then your balance point will be @ RacketLength/2 (i.e 68.5/2 cm = 34.25 cm for a standard length stick).
Hope this helps.
EDIT - by the way, I really think that adding some 80 grams of lead tape to a racket is overkill. I think if you need that much mass you need to get a racket that's closer to the target spec so that you don't have to add that obscene amount of lead tape. Personally I've never used more than 5-10 grams of lead on any racket. If I need more than that ... then I haven't chosen the right spec racket in the first place.

nice projection, look at your profile quote and pic. seems like you're the pretentious one:( might want to learn how to use a dictionary moron. again another useless comment, if you dont have anything useful to say then shut the hell up. to anyone who actually has a brain and wants to help, is the k factor six one team supposed to have open channels under the butt cap or are they filled? thanks.

^^^pretentious: attempting to impress by affecting greater importance, talent, culture, etc., than is actually possessed

Wanting an equivalent to a pro's racquet is affecting greater importance & talent than one actually possesses.

I am all up for tinkering, trying new things for fun and I really think you should go through with this, but I strongly suggest that you apply all the lead in a reversible fashion so you don't ruin your stick if you don't like the result.

You're looking at quite a jump in weight (74g), and that will change the characteristics dramatically. Also, it will NOT play the same as Guga's racquet, as his stick has most certainly a different layup and material composition to yours, so flex and feel will be totally different.

If you just want to get a feel and appreciation for how heavy that racquet swings, go ahead, no harm done, and with a Prisma pencil as balance axis, a tape measure and some brain power you should be able to achieve it.

Enjoy!

your post itself was pretentious :???: also, notice your def, it said impress. your are wrong again because I am not trying to impress. I want to achieve a similar weighted racquet so I know what his feels like, it is for myself, no one else. might want to stop assuming....btw Thank you NYC for the useful post.

Notice "you're deaf"... Maybe you really ARE stupid rather than foolish. "You're" wrong again.
