What are the differences between Luxilon BB ALU Power and Power Rough?

I know that Power Rough is more textured than ALU Power, but what makes them different from one another?

I'm just asking this because I had ordered Alu power rough online, but received the string in an Alu power package. I couldn't tell what type of string it was just by reading the print on the string, it only said Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power of 9499.

This likely means the string came from a reel?

ALU Power is extremely smooth and slippery. It is hard to pull it when you're stringing, it just slips out of your hands.

ALU Power Rough is rough, the roughness is the only physical difference between them.

Supposedly there is a significant difference in reliability between the two. Considering the ridiculous amount of spin you can generate with ALU Power, I don't think it is worth it.

Not worth it because of the decrease in durability...

It may be worth it because it's already a durable string. I know spin is indeed supposed to be better, but I'm not sure about other playing characteristics.
