Roddick has a pretty tough draw after 2nd round. Has Blake, Ancic, Ginepri, and Ljubicic all in his half. If he can win this tournament hopefully everyone will get off of his back, especially with his fairly tough draw.

Fast Carpet is going to suit the big servers. The ball really slides through, it almost plays like a grass court.

Blake has a tough first match against Ancic. I dont think Ancic will give Blake enough time to setup with his booming forehand. Serve volley players have had alot of success on indoor carpet.

This is going to be a very interesting tournament.

1. Roddick: can he rebound from his first round losses and live up to his seeding?
2. Blake and Ginepri: are their breakthroughs for real?
3. Ljubicic: he's got a pretty good draw, he's playing like the number 1 seed, but he's been playing a lot of tennis... might he be a bit "unmotivated" in light of the upcoming Davis Cup final?

Wow, that Lyon draw is really stacked. All the top contenders seem to be in the top half, the bottom half is wide open. I would be pretty shocked if someone from the bottom half won it. Even without Ljubicic, Roddick will likely have to go through both Blake and Ginepri just to reach the final.
