Going to Miami, new to tennis ticketing,
for example does this entry
Friday, March 26
Women's & Men's
Singles 2nd Round Doubles

Mean that morning session is Women Singles and evening is Mens & doubles?

Dont want to get to a womens match...

The order of play is not posted yet.

Both men's and women's matches are spread out pretty evenly. There's no certain time that you could go and not see any women's matches. Plus, IMO, the best thing is to hit the practice courts. That for me is where the real action is. Unless of course there's a great match going on.

You'll have fun.

not sure what I am getting

a womens match, a mens match or a doubles match or all of the above.
They also advertise that Roger Federer is playing 3/27 8pm, I understand it will on stadium. what if i wanted to see an early match with Nadal, what date/time to buy tickets for?

You better buy tickets now if you want to get in on stadium. You can't buy stadium tickets at the gate for that session; all you will get are grounds passes, which includes everything but stadium seats. The big problem is that people buy up the 100 level seats ($150+) really quick. The 300's aren't too bad, but I don't feel they are worth double the price of a regular stadium ticket. Here is the deal, this tournament is a vacation for some people. I noticed in the past that the hotels were booked up during this tournament. That means, people with a lot of extra cash, and they will buy up 100-level seats for the week, before they know the draw. They are not like us, who care about seeing a particular player, or getting a good matchup. They know if they buy up two days in the 100's ($300+ per person), they will see Nadal and Federer up close.

Some seat strategies for grounds pass: Most of the seats are first come first serve. You can get great seats behind the players if you camp out for a match you really want. I got great seats for Djokovic and Safin matches on grandstand court.

Go to the qualifying: It is $10 max, and you get to park across the street (no shuttle bus). This is a way to see the pros up close, while sitting in Andy Garcia's reserved seat. When the weather is good, sitting in that stadium court is like being on vacation. Few people are there, and it is just a really peaceful atmosphere. You have to feel it to know.

This is also the best time to get an autograph or picture. Problem is, you don't know when the players will take the court. I waited around all day to get a ball signed by Guga (last year on tour) a couple of years ago. I put in a ton of leg work to get that ball, because he was last on court. It was worth it. Few people were there to even watch him. Federer and Nadal draw the biggest galleries and craziest fans. I don't know how old you are, but if you want an autograph from Federer, good luck. I tried once to get a ball for my mother, forget it, you need to go through an ant pile of kids. Those Fed fans. LOL

If you want to take pictures and shoot video, the qualifying is the best time, too.

Look up the year prior and see what rank got what day if possible. Maybe call up.

On a side note.

The Sunrise Challenger will have amazing matchups in the 1st round, I'm sure. For $15 you can get to sit right behind them. Much closer than stadium in Miami. The best match value in South Florida.
