Yes that he is not top 2 is 100% fact. Make a clay ranking based on points won on clay only over the last 12 months, and I guarantee Fed will be nowhere close to #2.

Yep, I think most normal Federer fans like me are secure enough to say he is not close to top 2 favoured, and thats ok.

He built a very good clay court record in his career though. Pretty good for a weakest surface to get to that many finals.
