Hi All

Recently got into PB and thought I might let others know the cheapest usable PB paddles (for indoor & outdoor) with decent spin, power and feel. I have tried MANY MANY lower end paddles (for science)

Pros
- Carbon
- Honeycomb
- Nice Feel
- Lower Power (good for hard hitters)
- Great Spin for price
- Nice Balls provided
- Same set is sold with different graphics for $50-70

Cons
- Handle is wider closer to hitting surface
- Short Handle
- Lower Power

$29 right on the rain forest site for the 2 paddle, 4 ball, 1 cover set - 20% coupon available - Search for "Nuipipo Eagles" and get the $29 one.

I have since upgraded to XSPAK & Bison Raw Carbon paddles but these are still in the bag for kids and for other newbies to try. Have already gifted a couple of sets to people as starter packs.

-thanks for the input
-good looking starter paddles!
-yeah, i can see how a 2hander would not like the handle
-but they look good, and provably fun to hit with!

-i bought 2x under $50 paddle brands when i first started playing (upstreet and bison, amazon purchases)
-i ALL beginners would do well with >$50 paddles to start, no more than that when you first start playing
-i liked the BISON paddle, badazz bison looking at you!!, but i sold it :sneaky:
-i liked my first paddle UPSTREET (palm tree purple), also sold it!
-both great looking and good starter paddles (y)(y)
-the upstreet paddles were a bit better overall, but the bison was not far behind
-no real spin from either, as they were both very slick face materials/construction
-both honeycomb core and fiberglass faces
-the bison did seem a bit more powerful, but not by much

-i currently have a bison.gray-fox paddle in my bag, got a good deal on it $20! :giggle:(y)(n)
-the shape is more square, good for doubles!
-the sound is LOUD!! my loudest paddle in my set!, people laugh when they hear it! haaaaaa
-its even louder than my wood paddle!, which i also own (i like the weight and the feel of wood paddles, but its hard to play with)
-wood paddles are very small!, and make it very difficult to play with them
-but wood paddles are fun to hit with once in a while
-i recently hit with a couple who just started playing, they both had wood paddles (the basic ones that come in a starter kit)
-after taking it easy on them and showing them the game and stuff, i told then to go online (amazon) and get some under $50 paddles
-i really do think "beginners" need to get into the game with a good looking paddle first!!
-only after they learn to play should they/anyone venture into the $100+ paddle market

-btw, i currently play with 2x $200 paddles (diadem and prokennex)
-i dont regret my paddle journey at all!!
