Kei takes it! What a match! Both players were deserving winners but sadly there can only be one in the end. Great credit to both players, terrific tennis from both.

Great win for Kei, was rooting for Stan but can't helped but be impressed with back to back 5th set wins over higher seeds with everyone questioning his fitness.

Kei Nishikori is the first Japanese man to reach the semi finals of a major since Jiro Sato at 1933 Wimbledon.

I think, if Kei is fresh, this has the potential to be a classic.

Shame that Sky Sports preferred this match over Mirza/Soares-Chan/Hutchins.
Ten Sports will soon rule the world.

That was a very good match! I was entertained throughout but that third set was the highlight, particularly the tie-break.

Again, this match would never have happened if Nadal hadn't withdrawn from the tournament. Hopefully you all remember that.
Nadal would have lost in the first round, just like he did to Darcis at Wimbledon last year, so yes, this match would still have happened. :)

I believe that Kei Nishikori will be ready to give his best effort in the semi-final. As long as he isn't overawed by the occasion of being in his first Slam semi -- and I don't think he will be -- then he has a legitimate shot of beating Nole or Andy.

This US Open offers Kei a unique opportunity that he wouldn't get at the other Slams: two full rest days after a quarter-final.

That Mcenroe/Roddick ad is funny in a nonsensical way.

I laugh at how John just decides to pull his phone out and transfer $100.00 to someone immediately after getting annoyed with Roddick for taking too long.

Good job Kei, though I suspect he is very tired after these matches. At the end, I guess he wanted it a bit more than Stan (So much Fiji, for the prediction).

Hope he holds up for next match or two and don't give a WO to Djoker or Murray.

What a dogfight that was!
Congratulations to Nishikori, great mental fortitude.
Stan has some things to ponder about me thinks...
