Think how close Nole potentially was from going for the coveted Grand Slam at this year's US Open. Had Fed not captued his old magic in a bottle and served lights out in the final tiebreaker, Nole would be in prime position. Obviously, there's no guarantee but given how he's owned Nadal on clay this year, even more so than on hard courts and grass, it sure would have been there for the taking. Don't believe there's been a player in the modern era who's won the first three majors much less the Slam.
