Above reminds me. My father -in law is 79 and a yoga teacher, with two master's degrees in yoga and a PhD in the making, all the degrees having been pursued after retirement. Here he is on International Yoga Day (the one who talks the most and at the end does an asana himself). I slept at home through the event, much to my shame, because it started at 6 am.

Wow ! Hats off !

Nice.

Poobah the healer, with the magic touch that disciples long for. Secreter of the basalt infused magic crystals, at the express behest of the troller beyond par Dalia, destined for fertile grounds ...Prostrations. Or fetal positions. Whichever gives us full depth of blessings ...

Obviously that old guy is taking advantage of the "yoga" angle to handle some young girls improperly. I'd like to see him try that move on different subjects.

Congrats both to your father-in-law and to you.

To you for having the bollocks to sleep through a landmark event in your father's life, and to your father-in-law for not murdering you. ;)

If 4.0s would stop trying to change their game with fads and fashion and submit themselves to the cosmic beauty of the SureshianLiquidSpray(tm) and listen to him expose his knowledge of proper footwork and stroke erection their game would transcend the National Recreational Level and move into the 4.5 echelon of sporting immortality.

Is that a tennis ball in the shorts or ...?
Who knows, the prospect of raining hell down from the big bubba must be exciting, no?

His day starts at 4 am and I was on vacation

How much asana practice does he do everyday? I am sure he does pranayama as well.

I always wondered on the time spent on each as you age. Krishnamacharya placed a lot of importance on pranayama.

I am just starting out on pranayama. It is a very powerful practice.

Nowadays he only does asanas to teach others. He has spent several decades learning them. And he does pranayama as well. He is a very religious conservative type, so even without yoga he prays every day

He must be over the moon to have a demigod like you in the family.

You will be able to sleep in all you like while he gets up early to do Poojas to Poobah!

Shavasana is a legitimate asana and total relaxation comes with a lot of practice.

Yoga nidra (yogic sleep) is more difficult and needs practice.

Talking of "stroke erection", I hope that's a tennis ball in Sureshs' pocket. Oh my!

Sureshs doesn't do yoga per se, but when he feels spiritual he drives his vimana to his local AYCE buffet and performs a chant while his digestive tract engulfs several creatures. There's nothing like eating nature to feel one with nature.

I am curious to know -- does he have knee or joint issues. Recently somewhere i was reading, and some article talked of yoga gurus and teachers who have had knee replacement and such.

I was looking up for yoga postures that are contraindicated for back pain. Strangely, all the postures that came up in various articles are the very same ones that are recommended to help lower back. So i am now confused.

(Background. Last year while getting two wisdom teeth extracted, i was sitting in the lobby going through a huge coffee table Yoga book at the dentist). Some exercises mentioned that they were not to be done if one had back pain. I did not pay attention.
Recently, my back pain came back, so i have started doing a lot of yoga postures to improve it. Cobra, Sphinx, child's pose, etc. So i had wanted to know what to avoid. Google hasn't been my friend in this case)

LOL. I just found this creation by @JoelDali, and I think it bears repeating.

Michelein Man cookie dough flesh
Making love with Fedace & Suresh
Grinding spraying rising Cortex
LeeD 4.0 sucked into a polar vortex
Suresh GOATing on Fedace's tummy
LeeD looking anything but
Yummy
KPS88 NTRP 4.5 glory
Fedace unbanned so he can complete his story
Brown broken condoms
Basalt elixirs
LeeD WristAssist ticklers

I wrote that while in hospice cair in Van Nuys, California in the early 90's.

I could see the end of my life nearing and I set forth to produce my greatest works of modern literature.

The Michelin Man reference is truly masterful word smithing. Even I chuckled as I read it when I wrote it.

Thanks for unearthing an example of true Internet Tennis art.

What is Sureshs?

It is a phenomenon.

It is a force. A force that is stronger than nuclear forces. A force that moves the shoulder consciously orthogonal to hurricane winds that blow trash across.

It is a spiritual energy-vibration-field thingy.

It is a TTW matrix that has sucked even dalia the troller par excellence into it. He is so plugged in that SexiFed lost a shouldabe epic final without dalia remote force field.

It is the prana that keeps some old peeps like me coming back to TTW.

suresh is one of those potent sensual warriors that every woman should experience. The depth and warmth of his delicate urine spray crystals blind the eyes of the faithless and those that inject Cortex into their bodies before Sectional mixed doubles playoff. suresh is changing the overall face of the game and his influence will soon be felt by mid range ATP GOATs.

Before The Master answers, just to make the comment that I thought you weren't supposed to do the Cobra unless you're ready to spray.
