Anybody who uses the word 'sick' to describe anything other than illness- or related, just sounds ******** and uneducated .

Q. There's been a lot of talk about Nick Kyrgios. What are your thoughts about him?
ROGER FEDERER: ...He's got sick power, and it's going to take him a long way.

Seriously? Who says that?!? Other than bogs, of course.

Same with "Crazy". I stopped being a Fedr fan the day he said he had "crazy talent". So uncool. Crazy should only be used to mean crazy.

Lots of tennis commentators. Guess you should stop watching tennis on TV and only spectate at the stadiums?

I haven't heard one say it. Federer is not 12, or 16. You would expect someone of Kyrgios' intellect to say something like that, but I'm rather surprised that someone of Federer's stature and sophistication would say it. Imagine Rafa saying: I hit sick topspin on my forehand, no? Just doesn't sound right. Maybe I am old, but stupid remains stupid;)

I bet the tomic episode has an effect on it. Better say some good words about these brat pack Rather than hearing back things.

The original meaning of sick in the middle ages referred to an extreme or outrageous ability. This was then diversified to incorporate any extreme reaction, including bodily functions. Eventually it came to mean any bodily illness, including mental health.

Not really.

i think it's sick to use the use of the word "sick" to define someone as "********". there are real ******** people in the world. they are sick. only we don't refer to them as "********" anymore. we refer to them as "mentally challenged" or "handicapped". sometimes, it can be mentally challenging to keep up with how language changes over the course of time. and it makes me sick sometimes when i have to endure someone's real mis-use of the english language because ultimately, i think it can be a handicap when you go out into the real world and try to make something of yourself. but i don't make a big thing of it. i don't make myself sick over it. because life is all about choice. when i come across people who throw around words casually, sometimes i have a few choice words for them, but nothing more. i don't allow their cavalier attitude to ****** my own personal growth. they can handicap themselves, if they choose to. it's their choice.

i'm gonna say goodbye now. i've been sick for days with this cough. i really ought to rest.

You are right. Yesterday, I heard Roger saying "My bad" in an apology to Tomic. Now I absolutely hate Roger. Bad should only be used for things that are not good.

It's sick how bad people's diction can be.

I know right? Maybe Federer is trying to connect with the younger players on tour. Maybe he's trying for a fresh new hip image. Next, he might even go sleeveless.

Now that will be sick.

Remember when he said "Unbelievable" for something one could scarcely call out of the ordinary? Yes, that is when I gave up on him too.

I've got very high standards. Unfortunately Mr. Federer has been removed from my list of potential friends.
