Players first reactions when winnnig their first Slam

I always wondered what reaction Henman would have had if he won Wimbledon. I just cant imagine his reaction, would he fall to hes knees, would he cry, or just the usual salute to the British crowd? Makes me wonder what reaction many other players would have to winning a slam for the first time, the guys who dont show much personality on court. What would their reaction be?

tim would certainly take off his clothes and run naked around the center court while screaming.

Thomas Johansson had the tamest reaction I can remember when he won the Aussie Open in 2002. He smiled, puts his arms in the air and blew a kiss to the crowd. Very dignified.

I want to see hewitt win the australian open
" " fed win rolland garros
" " nadal win wimbledon
those would all spark amazing reactions from the respective players

I imagine it is a very emotional experience for anyone who wins. I love to see their emotion come out...I see it as a sign of strength as opposed to weakness.

no, i think that safin had THE most subdued reaction to winning a slam when he beat hewitt in the 05 aussie final. when hewitt missed the return on match point, safin just clenched his fist for a second, walked up and shook lleyton's hand, and that was it. in his defense, he smiled 20 minutes later though when he received the trophy and the check.

Id want to see someone jump the net like they used to

none of this falling over and huggin the ground
especially on a hard court ?!?!

Actually when Graf won the French in 1999 she just walked up to the net and shook hands although she already had a truckload of slams to her name
