PolyStar Profile.

I tried the new PolyStar Profile string recently put out by PolyStar. As advertised by them to have a ruff surface, it does promote more spin. However Profile is firmer and has less power than PolyStar Energy, my preferred string. I may try using Profile as a cross string with Energy mains to get a firmer stringbed with more spin..

Where did you buy this? In what way is the surface textured?

I bought it at tennis string man dot com. The surface is not textured but it does yield extra grip which promotes spin. It is bright yellow in color

Thanks. Could you, please, describe what's the surface like? I mean, is it extruded in to a non circular shape (HEXtreme style) or has it been roughened up (Alu Rough style)?

It is cylindrical and does not have a visably rough surface, however it grips the ball.
