There's enough negative crap going on in the world and we all get sucked into it. Well that's not allowed in this thread. No political stuff, no stuff that should be in GPPD. No trolling each other, no trolling period. If someone being hurt/killed makes you happy take it elsewhere, this isn't the thread for that. This is about the lighter side of things, things that make you happy, things that are light-hearted, things that are positive. The world would be a better place if we focused more on the good things instead of always focusing on the bad, and that's not up for debate in this thread, we can do that elsewhere.
For me I'm happy it's Friday. Tomorrow the wife and I drop off the boys at the grandparents house for a few hours so we can go out on a date, which is kind of our Valentine's celebration. We're gonna eat something yummy and then watch Happy Death Day 2U. We both enjoyed the first one and it seems to have the same main cast so it should be fun. My wife gets a well deserved spa day on Sunday and then since Monday is a holiday we're taking the kids to a pizza place we've never been since the one near us is closing. Looks like lots of fun and the older one is really excited. The youngest doesn't understand and I just hope he doesn't try and run off too much.
I'm very lucky to be able to get to my work office in 5 minutes from my house. I have freedom in my job to figure things out how I see fit as long as I can show why I did it that way and how we all benefit in the end.
I've been with my wife for 14 years, but it feels like at least 120, but in a good way. We're best friends even though we both get on each other's nerves, sometimes intentionally just to get a rise out of each other. Our kids are awesome.
