I am working on two Pro Kennex Destiny 290. Weight is 330 grams with lead setup and about 5 points head light. I have been using 4 grams at 12 and 10 G taped to the bottom of the handle. I used to use strips under the grip but I like keeping the balance as head light as possible so when I am testing with lead I mash some strips of lead on the bottom of the handle, tape them on with packaging tape about 1 inch down the grip and then cover with a over grip. I wanted to make the lead permanent so I took off the but cap and expected to see a bunch of balls which are in the Pro Kennex 7G. What I found in both rackets was 2 chambers in the handle. One chamber is filled with a material. I normally grind out this material, install the lead and glue with cotton and a glue gun and then reinstall the butt caps. In both rackets one chamber was empty all the way down to the bottom of the handle. I decided to fill that chamber with cotton and would you believe it took 10 grams of cotton balls to fill the chamber and a little glue on top. Why would they only fill only one chamber? Doing it this way did I not make it less head light. What would you have done?
