pro staff 97 vs six one 95s

Anyone played with both rackets or knows something the main differences?

I'm searching for a stable doubles racket, great for volleys, returns, Ohbh.

At the moment playing with the extrme pro 2.0, great for singles but feels a bit brainless at net, service love its power but don't feel like the control is always there. Not really feel orientated. Less swingweight isnt really a problem.

What would be a better pick?

I haven't hit the PS97 but the 95s is a great frame. It is one of the best return and volley rackets I have ever hit with.

According to the testers, the PS has more power and far less control than the 95S.

I have a feeling that some TW play testers interpret 'inconsistent' as:

- too lively in the centre of the stringbed

- too dead by contrast toward the edge

The Storm series had that issue as well, for me at least, but I found the liveliness the main problem.

The PS97 has more power and control. It's a no brainer.

Seems like the ps 97 needs some time to get dialed in. String sensitive?

Think the sweetspot will be better than the 95s but not that great as my extremes??

six one 95s does it feel more like an old players racket and this ps97 feels more like the modern rackets/tweeners? I mean whats the more difficult racket to use in terms of technique? 95s you have to work harder for those powerfull shots than with the ps97?

The 95S feels quite modern IMO. Very lively with a high launch angle.

The 95S really accentuates modern strokes well (heavy spin, high trajectory and played into larger targets), but it is kinda lackluster for more flattish strokes IMO.

I switched this year to the PS 97 looking for a lighter stick than the 6.1 but with good power and control. I have been playing with it for two months and I am dialed in. I did not experience the uneven stringbed that has been reported. My ground strikes are solid and consistent, my serve is as good as with the 6.1, and I feel like my volleys are improved with the lighter PS 97.
