Pure Aero vs. Pure Aero Tour Forgivness

Hi TW,

I was hoping to get your opinion on the forgiveness of the Pure Aero vs. Pure Aero Tour on groundstrokes. I'm a very fit individual, neither racquet tires me out, and I think my swing speed is the same with both racquets. The Pure Aero Tour seemed to be less forgiving than it's lighter counter part in the sense that if I'm a little late, the heavier mass of the Tour will send the ball flying long. Is this what TW playtesters usually experience when comparing a heavier model (Pure Aero Tour) vs it's lighter counter-part (Pure Aero)?

Thanks! :)

If the racquet isn't too heavy to where it is affecting how quickly we can swing it, then usually the heavier racquet is MORE FORGIVING because it'll be solid and stable for off-center contact and will resist twisting better. The heft of the racquet could in theory make the ball go long if not struck properly, but it could also contribute to adding more spin which would help keep the ball in too.
