Rafa desperately needs a new coach to save his career. While Novak and fed made improvements to their games in the past few years, Rafa's been on a steep decline.

Who will be his best coach?

Imagine federer retiring this year and becomes rafas coach... just get Rafa to win 2 more slams and stop Novak!!

For the life of me, I can't see Roger wanting to help Rafa win more Slams and so endanger his own all-time record! ;)

rafa will hire a new coach but will not fire toni nadal

so he will be first male player to have 2 coaches simultaneously

How about just serving to a different spot once in a while? We get it, you're a lefty. But it doesn't work when people know it's coming every single time.

Nadal is a one trick pony (a very good trick when you're 22 and doped to the gills) and seems about as sharp as a bowling ball. I doubt anyone can convince him to change anything. He will quit tennis before he gives up his defense-only strategy.

Rafa needs someone strict, cause he needs to change his ways on how he plays tennis. He can't expect every tennis game to be a rally, he has to play smarter. He has to improve his game on the hard courts and grass if he wants to save his legacy from being more then a clay court specialist.

Ivan Lendl should be the one to coach Rafa.

The thing is, what you're thinking is just not Rafa's style. He was never an attacking player, and you need a good serve to be an effictive attacker. Most just don't see Rafa being an offensive baseliner much more a net player.
