Rds 003 2008 and Rds 001 (not 2008)

Has anyone played with both of these racquets ive played with the rds 003 it is very nice and has lots of pop on serves and volleys my friend has tried it and says he wants to buy the rds 001 are these racquets really all that similar?

No. They are not very similar. They both do have that Yonex square head shape feel, that of a large but mellow sweetspot. The RDS001 is a thin beam, somewhat stiff, low powered "players" racquet.
